Biking the Bronx

Tonight, I got lost in Bronx River park. *SO* lost. So lost I was off the GPS map. On a dark path, in a section marked green (for grass)... So lost that a man asked me if I was lost, and had I come in alone, and warned me to be careful out there. Oy. Very glad to turn around and pedal back to the light.

Aside from that, Mrs. Lincoln, the ride was lovely. 11 miles, modulo the getting lost and casting back & forth for the path. Each way. Going, CPW -> Frederick Douglass -> St. Nicholas Ave., 155th St., Macombs Dam Bridge, 161st St., Grand Concourse, Mosholu Parkway, Bronx River Greenway. Returning, Bronx River Parkway -> Fordham Rd. -> University Height bridge -> Harlem River Drive -> St. Nicholas Ave. -> Manhattan Ave.

Better lights would help. As would better bike infrastructure!! Sheesh. Some parts of the trip were well-marked and lit. Others, not so much. (Also, BIKE MOUNT for the phone. Already.)
