And shameless, at that.
So my in-laws gave the boy and me a(nother) cappuccino maker for Giftmas. And, honestly, I was just a teeny bit annoyed. We have one that they gave the boy 5? years ago, which is broken, and which I wanted to have fixed. Plus, I bought a stovetop one this summer, with which I travel, and which I was using to fix my daily caffe latte.
So we really didn't *need* one (and who does, really?). And getting this one means I have to toss the broken one -- no point paying to fix it when we have a shiny new one. And it's bigger than the old one. I was looking forward to reclaiming some counter space (we have almost none) for work surface.
But I just went and made myself the first cups of cappuccino in the new machine.
*Damn* that's good. Holy cow.
Thank you, thank you, *THANK YOU*, in-laws.
(I should have known. I was startled by the first machine -- thought it was a little silly, and approaching useless. I mean, come on! Who uses a cappuccino maker enough to pay for it? Wow, was I wrong. Get used to it, pig.)
