I'm thinking black paint for the latch straps and door frame, and red for the lock plate (in the center of the door). Leaving the handle itself unpainted, to avoid wear.

What do you think?

I could have gotten tickets in advance for http://www.babylovesdisco.com/ but I didn't, and now they're sold out. Wah!

Note to self: get tickets for next month.
